Children’s Photography

Black and white portrait of two people, a child and an adult, hung on the wall in a modern living room.

When it comes to finding a family photographer, you’ve so many options and so little time.

You don’t need yet another thing to fret & stress over.

Even though you miiiiiight drive each other crazy once in a green moon, I promise to walk into your hearts, capture your shared magic and love, and create something extraordinary for you to savour, celebrate and pass down for generations.

I want your kids to SEE how beautiful they are, and how much they’re loved. For them to be able to look back and see the home they grew up in, their parents when ‘young’, how smooshie they used to be, and all the incredibly intricate pieces that made them who they are.

What moments do you wish to remember? Let’s capture your now NOW.

Are you ready to create something super special?

A woman in a pink dress smiling at a young child holding a camera.

For 20 years I’ve been photographing kids, families, and their pets. You can read more about me here.

I’ve the patience of an octopus and will happily take care of three-nagers and not-entirely-thrilled-to-be-there partners.

I provide a full-service experience, holding your hand to help you prepare for your photo session (easy AND fun) through delivering magical art right to your door.

You have me the entire time. And no, your kid(s) are not difficult!

Through the years

Because watching your kids grow up is something you should be able to do whenever you want.

Investment

The family session fee is $650 for up to two hours of kid-led, joy-soaked, lovingly documented connection. And jokes. Fart jokes. Poop jokes. The more ridiculous the better.

Images, albums, and heirloom products are purchased separately—so you only invest in what makes your heart leap.

Most families spend around $8,000 on their curated collection of albums, wall art, prints, and digitals celebrating your story of now—before it all changes, and we get to do it all again next year.

Family Heirlooms

“Just the digitals” may be easy—but they can’t be hugged, passed down, or pulled off the shelf on a rainy day.

Let’s create something that lives in your home and in your hands—albums that sing your stories, artwork that juuuust miiiight slow the rush of growing up (maybe?).

My families return year after year to honor these fleeting, magical, vital chapters with tangible really great smelling heirlooms that last a lifetime.

Your family is your legacy.

Let’s preserve it in a way that feels as meaningful as the moments (and haircuts) themselves.

FAQ

  • To ensure you purchase only the images and formats you truly love, images are selected and purchased separate from the session

There is no minimum or maximum number of images you can choose, allowing you exactly what works for you - without paying “preset package” prices.

Families spend (on average) $8,000 total for albums, artwork and prints.

Please see the Pricing page for details.

  • My goal is to put something meaningful in your hands and home and memories.

You certainly can invest your time to find the best professional framers and archival printers, and print on your own. I cannot guarantee the quality of anything printed outside my studio.

Or you can choose to invest in a photographer like moi to create something truly special you couldn’t create on your own. Something truly meaningful to your family, whose value only grows with time.

Yes - digital images are also available to purchase. Please review Digital Collection prices. Fair warning, they will not provide the thrill of holding a printed image of your life in your hand.

When printing images on your own, I highly recommend avoiding the mass-produced consumer printing options you will find online for several reasons:

    • They use a single default color setting for all images, and the results may not look like your original images.

    • They’re not printed with “archival quality” ink or paper (meaning they fade over time).

    • They will not do your images justice, often ending up looking flat and ‘cheap’.

Don’t make photographers cry. Print your images preeeeetily.
