Children’s Photography

Modern living room with a white sofa, black framed black and white photograph of an elderly woman and child on the wall, standing lamp, wooden floor, large windows with black trims, and indoor plants.

So many family photographers.

So little time

I promise to walk straight into your hearts and meet your kids exactly as they are.

Calling all underwear-on-the-outside superheroes (AS YOU DO), stuffie collectors, Lego pirate ship builders, Keeper of Lost Cities adventurers, and anyone gloriously, specifically, wonderfully their own.

I already know they're magnificent.

I can't wait to make sure they always know it too.

How my session workhappens:

  • Three children standing on a stoop in front of a brick building, dressed in formal and casual attire. The image is in black and white.

    1. Getting to know you

Every session starts with a conversation.

You share your vision for the images and swoon-worthy artwork you want to bring home, and I share how I make it all happen.

Schedule a quick chat right here.

  • A joyful family moment indoors, featuring a man and woman smiling at a laughing girl with braided hair and beads.

    2. Playdate!

Think spontaneous and unposed. A casual hang where your kids take the lead. The result? Heartfelt images and keepsakes you'll want to hold forever.

Save the performances and fake smiles for your iPhone. Your perfectly imperfect selves belong here.

  • Modern bedroom with neutral colors, featuring a framed family photo above the bed, decorative vase on a side table, and a lamp on the other side.

    3. Choose your Faves!

At your Virtual Reveal, you'll choose the photographs and products that make your heart leap.

Some weeks later, your favorite memories and amazing artwork arrive at your door.

Hugging, happy dances, and squeals of I'M SO HAPPY WE DID THIS begin. Cue the chocolate.

“I love that you capture OUR life as it is - the ups and downs, smiles and boo-boos, snacks and crafts. You capture that moment as it is and that is what we treasure.

I mean who just sits around in a nice pose with matching outfits and smiles? That is not real life.’

—Hannah R.

Every moment counts

“Many family photographers were recommended to us. But none of them…

Consistently captured the moment, personalities, and the relationships of family members to each other that yours do.

— Nicole

Create something lasting

A woman in a pink dress smiling at a young child holding a camera.

For 20 years I’ve been photographing kids, families, and their pets.

I’ve the patience of an octopus and a super soft spot for three-nagers and not-entirely-thrilled-to-be-there partners.

From helping you prepare for your session (easy AND fun, no REALLY) to delivering magical art right to your door, I'm with you the entire time.

Embracing the chaos, mess, silliness, and ridiculousness.

And creating something meaningful.

Want to know more about me? Right this way.

Through

the years

Because watching your kids grow up is something you should be able to do whenever you want.

Family Heirlooms

Open photo album with black and white pictures of people in front of bridge and city skyline, on white fabric-covered surface

Because your kids' legacy deserves to be preserved as meaningfully as the moments (and haircuts) themselves.

"Just the digitals" don't get hugged, passed down, or pulled off the shelf on a cozy rainy day.

Physical heirlooms do. Annual storybook albums. Artwork that grows as they do. Proof, held in your hands and seen on your walls, that your kids were here, they were loved, and they were magnificent.

My families return year after year, some for 18 years and counting, for exactly that.

Tangible, really great smelling heirlooms, guaranteed for life.

Investment

The family session fee is $650 for up to two hours of kid-led, joy-soaked, gloriously chaotic fun.

And maybe a poop joke. Ok, maybe a FEW.

You’ll see your photographs and keepsake options a few weeks after your session at your Virtual Reveal.

We’ll choose your favorites, and order what makes your heart leap.

Most families spend around $9,000 on their personalized collection of albums, wall art, and sweet keepsakes celebrating the story of your now.

Before everything changes, and we get to do it all again next year.
